The free consultation comes with no obligation, but a few minutes of prep makes it easier for me to give you an accurate quote afterwards.
The first call is really just a conversation about what you need, who the site is for, and what a good result looks like for your business. You don't need a finished brief, but a bit of prep can mean less back-and-forth afterwards and an accurate written quote sooner.
Worth having ready
What the site or app needs to do
Not the design, the job. "Get people to call me," "let customers book a slot," "let staff log their hours", one sentence is plenty.
A couple of sites you like (or don't)
They don't have to be in your industry. "I like how clean this one is" or "I don't want anything like this," alongside an example, can say more than a long description.
Whatever branding already exists
A logo, brand colours, existing photos, if none of that exists yet, just say so, and we can take that into account when planning.
A rough sense of must-haves vs. nice-to-haves
If there's a feature the project doesn't work without, flag it early, it can change how the whole thing is scoped.
A ballpark timeline
A launch date tied to an event or a season matters a lot for planning; "whenever it's ready" is a fine answer too.
What happens after the call
You get a fixed written quote for the agreed work and a realistic schedule before anything starts. If you need something extra later, we'll agree on the cost before adding it. If you're not ready to commit yet, that's fine too; there's no pressure and no obligation to go ahead.
If you're missing some of the above, don't let that hold you back from booking, it's normal to figure a few of these out together during the call itself.
