Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a project take?

It depends on the package — a Basic website is usually ready in 2–3 weeks, while a full web app can take 6–16 weeks depending on complexity. You'll get a clear timeline before any work starts.

Are the prices on this page the final cost?

They're starting points. The final price depends on your project's specific scope and complexity. If your budget doesn't quite match, get in touch anyway — we'll figure out a solution together.

Do you build with a website builder or template?

No — every site is custom-coded from scratch, tailored to your business rather than squeezed into a generic template.

Do you only work with local clients?

No — I'm UK-based but work fully remotely with small businesses across the UK and Hungary.

Will I be able to update the site myself afterward?

Not directly — each site is custom-coded rather than built on a CMS, so there's no admin panel to log into. Instead, the Ultra and Premium Care Plan tiers include periodic image and content swaps every 3 months, so things stay current without you needing to touch any code.

Do I need the Care Plan?

It's optional, but recommended mainly for security. Plans start from £20/month and cover malware and vulnerability scans, DNS and uptime monitoring, and automatic backups, so problems get caught early instead of taking your site down. Higher tiers add SEO tracking, WAF protection, and periodic content updates — but security monitoring is the main reason to have any tier.

Can you redesign my existing website instead of building a new one?

Yes — I offer a free website audit first: I'll review what you have and tell you what's worth improving, with no obligation.

Can you build the site in both English and Hungarian?

Yes, bilingual (EN/HU) content support is available, especially for the Ultra and Premium packages.

What is SEO and why does it matter?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of optimizing a site so it ranks better in search engines. It matters because it helps more of the right visitors find your site.

What do Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO mean, and why do they matter?

These are the four categories Google Lighthouse scores every site on. Performance means the page loads fast. Accessibility means it works for everyone — for example, I add descriptions to every image and video in the code for screen-reader users, even though you won't see them yourself. Best Practices means the site follows modern, secure web standards with no outdated or risky code, keeping it stable and easy to maintain long-term. SEO helps people actually find your site through search engines.

What is GEO, and do you optimize for it too?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the newer counterpart to SEO — making a site easy for AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews to read and reference. I build every site with clean semantic HTML, structured data (JSON-LD), and an llms.txt file, so it's set up for both traditional search engines and AI answer engines from day one.

What do I need to provide to get started?

Mainly your content — text, photos, your logo, and brand colors if you already have them. If anything's missing, I can help fill the gaps or suggest a good alternative.

Do you build e-commerce websites and online stores too?

Yes — I build custom e-commerce sites and online stores, not generic templates. Every package includes secure checkout with PayPal and Stripe integration, product catalogue setup, and mobile-responsive design. Check the Services page for the E-commerce package tiers and pricing.

Not sure which fits?

Tell me what you need, and we'll figure out the right starting point.

Pricing depends on the complexity and difficulty of the build. If the numbers above don't quite match your budget, reach out anyway — we'll adjust the solution together so it works for both of us.
